Felixstowe Physio Therapy Practice

Covid-19 Policy

With the relaxation in Covid we are happy to welcome you into the practice without face masks. However if you have vulnerabilities or would prefer us to wear a mask; we are more than happy to oblige.

We do still run a "by appointment restricted admission" service. We learnt through covid that the practice operates more efficiently if we control traffic into the practice. Please come to the door at your allotted appointment time and we will be there to greet you. If you arrive beforehand you will find the door locked as we are still treating the previous patient.

PRIVACY/GDPR - As per the tightening of regulations to date and confidentiality in 2018, we would like to assure our patients we are fully compliant. Read our Privacy Policy.

Welcome to Felixstowe Physiotherapy Practice

Felixstowe Physiotherapy Practice is a privately owned and run Practice dedicated to offering high quality treatments for a range of ailments. It is available to the general public without referral from a G.P. or consultant, however, we work in close liaison with both. Felixstowe Physiotherapy Practice is a preferred provider for AXA PPP and all other medical insurers where individual policies allow for physiotherapy. The practice is easily accessed from the A14 and Felixstowe centre. It offers 3 individual treatment rooms, plus a rehabilitation room allowing for the assessment of movement and to teach exercises specifically tailored to the patient.

Our Approach

Our physiotherapists have an extensive range of skills including manipulation, mobilisation, massage, biomechanical assessment and exercise prescription. Electrical apparatus, such as ultrasound, is used where appropriate to aid the relief of pain and promote recovery. Most of our Physiotherapists are also qualified in the use of Acupuncture which can be used in association with manual, electrical and exercise therapy.
